This canister/jar was hand built using a red stoneware clay. The line design was created by inscribing a line in the clay and then fill it with slip. once dried its is scraped to reveal a clean line. Glossy white glaze on the inside of the jar. A raw edge cork is the stopper of the jar. This would make a nice cookie jar.
