So this little box was formed using the hand building techniques. The clay is a warm chocolate stoneware that is then painted with a white slip. Then carved using my signature sgraffito technique to create the design. The box if fired with a glossy white glaze on the inside but left raw on the outside. This container is ideal for holding jewelry, spices or other small treasures.
